OHS JAZZ BAND AND OPUS....
Yess!!! For eleven straight years, the OHS music department has won first place in the State of Illinois in either Class A or AA competition. Come and see our most talented music students perform. Under the direction of Miss Sarah Reckmeyer, the OHS Jazz band will present the first half of this program. The second half will be presented by Mr. Roger Amm and OPUS 28.
2nd Hour(8:53-9:35)
Suspended- a cappella group
-A student-led male a cappella group from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois. One of the members is OHS's own Mike Duback.
HOMEROOM(9:41-10:01)
All seniors report to the auditorium according to the seating chart for the senior slide show. All other homerooms report to homeroom!
3rd Hour(10:07-10:49)
Katherine Davis- Katy D does the blues
Katherine Davis is her own woman! Singer, songwriter, actress, and teacher, her life is imbued with music. Whether she is portraying Bessie Smith or Ma Rainey on stage, appearing with piano accompaniment at a nightclub, fronting a large band, or singing for the Lord, Katherine steers her own course. Her command of carious musical styles is saturated in blue. Katherine's unique musical approach was nurtured within her circle of family and close friends.

Southern Junction- band
Well known local band that does originals and cover songs to all sorts of musical genres. "They're good and you guys should get them." OK Vinny, we'll take your word for it but they better be as good as you say!!
6th Hour(1:23-2:11)
Cowboy-Don - comedy duo
Back by popular demand! Two men, one dream...no leash. Chicago based duo of Nick Murawski and Pat Reidy. They have performed their brand of sketch comedy at corporate functions, festivals, and theatres in Chicago since 2003. Yes, Nick is out very own Josh Murawski's big brother.

Talent?? In the ranks of Ottawa High School Faculty and Staff? In this the last hour of the Festival, the talented members of the OHS and staff, will strut their stuff.
NOTE: 7TH HOUR CLASSES WILL NOT MEET. STUDENTS SHOULD REPORT TO HOMEROOMS EITHER FOR SEATING IN THE AUDITORIUM OR IN THEIR CLASSROOMS.
